Richard C. Klein chairs the Family Law Group of Spector Gadon & Rosen. With impeccable credentials and 33 years of experience, Mr. Klein is well known and highly regarded in the complex arena of family law.

Before joining SGR, Mr. Klein was the Senior Partner of Richard C. Klein, P.C., practicing family law in South Jersey with offices in Haddonfield and Marlton. The earlier days of Mr. Klein's practice coincided with a period of turmoil for the American family, in which divorce and custody issues became much more common. As these cases accumulated on his desk, Mr. Klein made the decision to focus exclusively on family law.

Three decades later, his expertise in issues such as child custody evaluations, how to respond to the growing demand for family court input, how to approach allegations of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse within the context of visitation and custody disputes, and how to provide services pertaining to children's resistant to visitation and possible parental alienation syndrome.

In addition, Mr. Klein's many years of experience in complex divorce litigation has enabled him to approach each case individually, fully understanding and analyzing the specific needs of each child and client, always seeking long term results.

Mr. Klein has extensive experience serving as a source of legal expertise for the media. He has appeared on ABC's Good Morning America and World News Tonight, CNN's Sonya Live, BBC's Moneyline, and WHYY's Radio Times as well as numerous appearances as the guest legal analyst for CN8's Its Your Call with Lynn Doyle. He has been profiled or quoted in articles in many local and national newspapers. His involvement in several landmark custody cases, second-hand smoking cases, and issues concerning Internet Relationships has received broad print and broadcast coverage.

Mr. Klein is chairman of the Domestic Violence sub-committee of the Burlington County Bar Association Family Law Section, past co-chairman of the Camden County Bar Association Family Law Section and Burlington County Family Law Section, a trustee of the Camden County Bar Association from 1993 to 1996, a past member of the Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Section, and a member of major family law committees on the county and state levels. In 1987, he was appointed to the select subcommittee of the New Jersey State Family Law Section for alimony, child support, and maintenance. He earned a J.D. from Rutgers University, and has taught Family Law at several colleges.
