Renee E. Berger | Associate


Renee E. Berger has been an associate with the firm since 2004. She practices in the areas of commercial litigation, products liability litigation and toxic tort litigation. In addition to her present practice areas, prior to joining the firm Ms. Berger litigated false arrest cases, insurance coverage and construction cases, including class actions. She is also experienced in the areas of appellate practice, surety law and employment law.

Prior to entering the practice of law, Ms. Berger managed a recruiting firm, built and repaired musical instruments and was a professional musician in both New York City and Los Angeles.

Ms. Berger is a graduate of Temple University School of Law, where she was the Managing Editor of the Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review, and was the recipient of the Wapner Newman Award for Civil Trial Advocacy. She graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University and studied at Manhattan School of Music.

Ms. Berger is a frequent lecturer in the areas of electronic discovery and document management, and premises liability. Her presentations include Preparing to Defend Against Premises Based Asbestos Claims, to the Natural Gas Claims Adjusters Association, and serving as a guest speaker before the Delaware Valley Chapter of Information Systems Security Association. Her publications include Managing Documents in a Changing Legal Landscape, Lorman Education Services, 2006, and Have Reports on Idiopathic Mesothelioma Reached Critical Mass? A Survey of the Existing Research in the Contest of the Asbestos-Mesothelioma Paradigm, (Co-author), DRI.
